This is the mighty SOS団

The SOS団 was setup by Haruhi with the help of Kyon after he gave her the initial idea. On steam, a number of admins including {SOS}Inspector N 団 who is the leader of the SOS brigade of Jserver.

The meaning of SOS Brigade

Haruhi setup the brigade with the resoning behind SOS being, Sekai wo Ooinimoriageru tame no Suzumiya Haruhi no dan which mean's Save the world by overloading it with fun Suzumiya Haruhi brigade.

The mission of the Bigade

The primary mission of the SOS団 is to find strange beings (such as aliens, espers, time travellers) and investigate mysteries (Such as the mystery on the island in the anime "The melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi").

Brigade member duties

Brigade members must obey the higher ranked members and the higher ranked members are sensible leaders, all equal to all except Haruhi or Konata, Haruhi is the God of Haruhiism.

Generally only people who are deemed useful/cool by the group are invited into the SOS団 but some people who are unusual/ in positions of power are also in.
